We meant what we wrote, when we wrote it last
Well now, now you can see, how the words waste fast

Pardon the intrusion, but can I search your draws
Plain sight or not, can I reach in to your brains core
We apologize for the inconvenience, we won’t be botherin’ you no more

Well what do we have here, a pretty young thing
Let us buy you a few drinks, looks like you lost your ring
Well, isn’t this why you came, why you painted your face, why you ran

Forgive my presumptuous nature, but it’s in me, what can I say
Excuse my perpetual ignorance, I am a simple man, it is my way
Absolve my corrupt deeds, I have changed, I see the light of day

The teachings on the wall, and the books of ingenuity, I seek
A preacher of science, and the reader of the stars, will bring
The more appropriate thinking, in which I place hope in

So you don’t agree, so you think I’m wrong, burn my flag
Burn it and be burned, by the war you waged, you have engaged
Awakened the bear, hibernating peacefully in the spring air, caged

Full of rage, pardon the emotion, its here to defend
Remain alert, the line draws circles around you, your safety shrinks
Sweat beads fall off from your warhead, a glass of cold water to drink

Maybe meaning is known only to you. The words intriguing, but so cryptic and strange. Who are they for; Since they seem to be directed at some particular person?
I'm trying to decide if this is worth puzzling out, or if I'm wasting my time...
Make no mistake, your rhymes and meter are wonderful -- but it's like reading a foreign language.

WOW! Sarcasm and rage in full effect! Indeed you are a puzzle...but one worth finishing ; ) Your expression in this write is very forceful in nature, and most definitely had an intended target...Well done jyss.
