[bodytext] => Once upon a time, There lived a girl. One who always smiled, While living in a perfect world. But the happiness faded, Along with her glow. So much darkness, sadness, Inside this girl you didnt know. When she wakes, She puts makeup on her face. Disguising, hoping, praying, She won't look so out of place. As the sky turns black, The mask wears away. Reminding her, showing her, The sadness never strays. As she lies alone at night, She sobs herself to slumber. In her dreams, with knife in hand, At her vein death plunders. As she wakes, she takes her blade, Carving the pain from her skin. I cut because I can, Hoping to end the suffering within. As each drop trickles, A tear slides down my cheek. The madness, the uncertainty, Unables me to speak. I look into that mirror once more, As I see my blood filled arm. Asking myself, begging myself, To just quit all this self harm. You cannot stop your only source of life, The only means that offer peace. When all the emptiness inside you, Makes all your happiness, your smile cease.
