The pain he endures, the path he has taken.
All the same, he feels all forsaken.
Suddenly of all, his faith left his veins.
Suddenly of all, it's like he's being hold in chains.

All I can do, is standing there and cheer.
All I can do, is try to calm his fear.

Unless he will's it, there's nothing I can do.
The mask that he's wearing, does not reveal a clue.
The mirror that he's holding, only reflects my side,
The mirror that I see, is his one and only hide.

"It's dangerous, I'm afraid to go out"
That's what he says, and then came the shout:
"I'm dangerous, don't let me free"
The bigger difference between him and me?
He's afraid and locked up in a chain,
I'll rather live and fight fear and pain. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 43 [informant] => DanishPoet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

I think I know someone like this. The last two lines of your poem signify the unyeilding human spirit, that what counts is the struggle and that is admirable. I like your spirited poem.

this is truly sad, although it has been me at one stage in my life. dont give up hope on him. continue to support him: thats probably what he needs most right now.
