Holding on to words that pull me through,
Sell me peace; this world is out of stock,
Confirming my intentions which are true,
One day my love, one day I will see you.

Staring at my page among the cloud,
Sharing dark times that have not long gone,
Pull myself from underneath this shroud,
One day my love, we値l walk among that crowd.

You breathe a tone that deafens every cry,
Write it down I can do nothing more,
Whole languages disguised within your sigh,
One day my love, your silence has to die.

My pen rejects this young besotted hand,
The page has left as tears soaked its face,
No more ink to wet my soulful sand,
One day my love, we値l finally make dry land.

I値l wait an age to kiss you off the train,
Cupid drags my heart on Malvern Hills,
Without your laugh my smile becomes profane,
One day my love, your offer I値l attain.

In dreams cathedrals let us sway and smile,
Unanswered calls cut deep as I walk home,
When your not here my house becomes exile,
One day my love, we値l stagger down the aisle.

My whole world shook when Worcester said farewell,
Godspeed that day when you return my heart,
I love you less where poetry can dwell,
One day my love, I値l thank God that I fell.
