The sky blanketed with stars
As I look up to the sky
The stars shimmer way up far

The wind blows gently
Orchids scents aflow
The lush aroma transcending
As the stars lumiously glow

The whispering wind plays a tune
A soothing rhapsody to my heart
It lulls in your tranquil voice
Caressing my hearts every part

I close my eyes and dream
I'm in your loving arms
You serenade my heart
With your loving charm

The tranquilty in the air
As I make love to you
Passions over load
With a love so true

I open up my eyes
Your voice slowly fades away
Well into the star lit sky
Until the very next day

Crickets hop on by
Cats prowl well into the night
I lay amidst the orchid blooms
The aroma a transcending delight

I await with anticipation
Each and everyday
To hear my heart's rhapsody
In the wind gently play...

Your voice whispers so sweetly of passionate yearnings of your heart, body and soul. A dreamlike state sustains you till you fulfill these yearnings.

Beautiful,
Rita

Sue this was a very beautiful write and it had so much love in it. Your choice of vocabulary was very good and it flowed really well. Thank you for sharing another good write and its good to see some more lovey dovey work from you. This poem really drew me in and it almost seems like your remembering a love or imagining being with someone you don’t have. Its really a sad write in a way to me but you can tell me if I’m interpreting it wrong. I to know how this feels and maybe its just my feelings changing this write to be sad in my own mind. You’re a good friend Sue and I hope all is well with you. I’m in my own struggle and it seems when things start going right something new comes into my world to mess things up again. I’ve been sad these last few days myself so you’ll be in my prayers as I ask that I’m in yours. Take care my friend Sue….Steve

Such delicate emotions played in harmony as one would play an instrument of the heart
so devine and in usual form . . .
