[title] => The Barracks O fForeboding
[time] => 2002-12-30 07:00:00
[hometext] => This is a dark poem about how a wandering soul frees itself in the barracks of foreboding.
[bodytext] => In the barracks of foreboding my soul shall rise,
from the prison of fear that it is clapped inside. Trickery has trapped a wandering soul, from finding a true life or love. Evil deeds fordone in greed; Fate has chosen my life’s path of need. Bars of hate are moulded with metal Trap me in my prison of the devil. Meaningful times remembered last. Memories that haunt my past. I can feel the heavy weight of time. Each stroke of a clock is a heavy chime. To carry until the peace of death Crowns me in a gentle breath. If only the flame of fear would be quenched with my tears; Heaven and Hell I am balanced between but the scale of weights is tipping toward evil not seen. My soul has at last sent a mournful repent the bars of hate have cracked and bent my soul has freed itself from greed; Fate has been so good to me.
