What is love?

I often times don’t understand.
What is this thing we all call love?
Is it good, is it bad?
Or often times is it a fad?
Shall I wait…but why hesitate.
Love isn’t just some game.
Or maybe it is.
Sometimes you win,
Yet sometimes you loose.
But why do fools always fall in love?
Can’t you answer me this?
Shall we all be in bliss when love has struck?
Or shall we all be left in the dust?
Is it a rhyme, or always such a crime?
A piece of cake or a life at stake?
Who will glow in a lover’s tow?
Whoever shall know will be forever rich.
To know how love goes.

A poem is really the only way to answer "what is love?", so it's fitting that a poem is the only correct way to ask it as well. Very well written. |
