Even though I don’t know what I have done
While you put me to the test
You treat me like I am the best
Sometimes I wonder what I did
Even though I may have acted like a kid
You have made me realize
Happiness is not made of lies
What matters most is what is inside
So there is no reason to hide
Who cares what other people say
As long as you’re happy today
Every day that you feel gloomy
Just think of the fun we had at the movie
I am there to hold you when you’re scared
Because that’s how much I cared
You mean so much to me
I don’t know were I would be
Without you I would be dead
That’s why I am your best friend
I hate it every time you have to depart
It just rips my heart apart
But I know that you have to
No matter what you have to do
I just want to be in your presence
Your advice always makes sense
You stuck with me through the bad
That’s why I will give you everything I have
I will even give you the keys to the truck
Just to bring you a days worth of good luck
You have proved me wrong
You have made me feel like I belong
I don’t know what else to say
Except I am here to stay
I just hope you feel this way to
Because I don’t know what I would do without you

A good friend is so hard to come by. You can be very open and share so much, and know they are always there for you. I wish you the best.

Nancy
