Blue Stained Glass Grass Growing In The Weeds

Contributed by iodinelove on Friday, 13th May 2005 @ 01:17:03 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Down the road down the toilet down the drain and blue stained glass grass growing in the weeds the road is straight forward finding feature films riding the waves of humanity; everyone is afraid to love. The music takes my fingers takes the space takes the open house special takes the *****ty coffee backseat wrapped upside down on the floorboard takes the last thought takes the afternoon off; I am afraid to love.
My love is an ending water the last page the first sentence the corrosion the rust of my nails the hammer touching air touching her hair the blond and sallow skin the dead end over the top junkie love I love the rain on Sunday the red sky across the tinted glass; we are all afraid to see.
I'm humming softly over the bridge the music drones on and on the cars pass by, flutter, fly, and touch an open dying sky the life i lead the twilight I might try the moonlight touches my skin touches the saliva the snot and tears the fear i fear; I can no longer think.
I have loved so many years ahead the dead end the brick wall over head lifting the highway up higher than I can see the nightmares the effigy the old stone buried deep the desert sands the soft soft night of the Arizona sky stealing my skin; I am afraid to think.
The needle turns the hole turns the black sacked vein the red and green tea the broken key beating down the door the dead whore the love that i love the come and flesh the perfumes meshed with vomit ***** and urine the dead end dead beat junkie love i love the Arizona heat the sky the night light the moon across my skin; I am afraid to love again. I am afraid to love.

i like the basis you've strung together, though i find it confusing to make clarity thanks in main to the lack of structure or punctuation

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
