so cold and so far
my dreams out of reach
like the most distant star

Gravity defines me
only on earth I exist
the wind from the stars
on my cheek lightly kissed

The ground is a tyrant
escape attempts failed
my spirit is wounded
my body impaled

Crimson springs forth
from the hole in my chest
Lower my head from the sky
That way it is best

Granite opens wide
to swallow me whole
the reaper is hungry
to harvest my soul

The stars becken loud
they plead do not fall
do not end this battle
and enter his hall

Drive my claws into soil
dangling over precipice
Hanging on for dear life
hoping for that kiss
