Her smile keeps me awake! I beg you leave these dreams from sight, For scarlet water sake, My withered smile wreaks envy, With dry blue eyes that stare, These broken words suit none but me, I blink yet she’s still there, Still dancing on my arteries, Who miss my kidnapped heart, You’re wings have smashed me to my knees, My soul you’ve split apart, Have mercy on this pleading chest, I’ve lost the blood to bleed, Come Jesus put my song at rest, God hear this plea I plead, But laughing Cupid sits and shoots, His flaming arrows high! My tears soaking both his boots, I beg you leave me die, This is not love, its Cupid’s kiss, Lipstick mortality, But damn that truth much worse than this, The fact she loves not me.
