i feel weird,
my stomach is doing gymnastics,
my heart is playing the drums,
my head is doing ballet,
and my skin is becoming the sun.

what is this feeling?
it comes over me so quickly
like waves on the beach.
it comes without warning
like a hurricaine on the east.
it just comes, then it goes.

what is this feeling?
it happens when i'm near you,
it happens when i'm far.
it happens when i look at you,
or even at the stars.
just even the thought of you triggers it.

what is this feeling?
is it love or lust?
is it want or must?
is it need?
or maybe it's...
no, it couldn't be.

what is this feeling?
it's driving me nuts.
not that i don't like it,
but i need to know,
what is it?
do you know?

what is this feeling?
it's not good,
but
it's not bad either.
is it hurt?
does it make me want you more?

what is this feeling?
i guess i'll never know,
but know this,
you are the only one
who can make me feel this way.
do i want you because i can't have you?
