Step on down that same side steet
Flash of lightning beneath me
I take off and burn it to the beat

I fly away with deception
Give the sky a wink and try to stay alive
Jump around with some purpose
Break the chains of rules to which we will never abide

Crack a hole in my head
I reach down and give my soul a kiss
Let the time fly with no worries
No worries with the smoke upon my lips

Turn around and then I see you
Flash a smile with intentions so innocent
Stuck with a purpose
And wondering of seeming malicious intent

Walk around the street light
Firefly flies on by
Reach down to my soul
Grab life by the bow tie

Fireworks in my brain tonight
Sit around and chase the breeze
All the doors to life unlocked
No need for a mess of keys

Hole in the wall
Then I come right back inside
Stuck alone with an emptiness
And back again to the rules, by wihich we shall abide [comments] => 3 [counter] => 164 [topic] => 54 [informant] => Exodus [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => happypoetry )

WOW!
I have never read anything like this!
This is Unreal!
It feels random, yet just like a knot of blood vessels, these words connect and create networks with one another.
"Flash of lightning beneath me"
"Give the sky a wink "
Illogical yet strangely appealing.
Perhaps within symbolical context?

"Crack a hole in my head
I reach down and give my soul a kiss"
Riddle me, riddle me not!
I love it!
Contradicting yet ...OUTRAGEOUS!

"Grab life by the bow tie"
I am completely dumbfounded by your ingeniousness.

I am so impressed.
