Yet He smites us with more.
We're so young and so hurt,
And yet life has so much in store.

It's unfair what we go through,
And it's unfair what we have to see.
So many people crying, dying,
So many in tears, so unhappy.

I look into their eyes,
And know there's nothing I can do.
I just wish I could take away your ache,
I just wanna be there for you.

My words begin to fade,
As insanity seeps in.
Lord only knows the magnitude,
Of the suffering you're feeling within.

The way the world ticks,
Makes you sit and wonder.
You think only the worst right now,
And with knife at vein you plunder.

I'm screaming for you now,
But my voice goes unheard.
The tears no longer speak for me,
As the silence breaks my every word.

I wish I could feel your pain,
I'd endure it just for you.
I'd suffer your every ache,
I'd feel it all the way through.

This life isn't right,
And this pain isn't fair.
But please, don't take your pain to the grave,
Because through this cruelty, I need you there.

My dear,
This is a lovely, thoughtful, and heartwrenching poem. God is not cruel to us, he is the Most Loving, and Kindest Personage in all the Universe, but man has always injured man to his advantage, so then it's man that has made himself evil that is bringing all the turmoil upon every one today!
Soon Our Loving Heavenly Father will rid the earth of these evil persons, and then we can live forever in exquisite delight of peace.
Enjoyed your poem very much

wow.. that was really good! i know how you feel when you say that God can be cruel.. and sometimes i think that.. but i know that he is only doing what is right, and that he is not trying to be cruel! Great Job~
