She’s looking for a place
Where she can drown her tears
Be held in her best friend’s arms
Away from hopes and fears
She’s asking for a reason
Why she should not go
Hated by society why we do not know
(INTRO)
Hatred has filled her she can’t fake her pain
She may be the beast but now she has been slain
Once living high she is now living low
Haunted by the words inside we say it isn’t so
Lying to herself to who she really be
Covering her eyes so she cannot see
Denial is her answer to every questioned tone
Telling herself people are laughing when she is really alone
(CHORUS)
The anger is excruciating building up inside
Every choice that she makes another will decide
Her cries are cuts and tears the blood shed
Eyes bore bleeding pupils the colour red
She looks upon her family as a one of doom
All their shouts and taunts are twanging off the room
The voices inside her head are making her ears bleed
Telling her not to listen stop but then take heed
(CHORUS)
All around her she hates it all
Looking on the world but then she’s feeling small
She could cry and scream but no one would hear
Living in a nightmare becoming her real fear
There’s no one else to turn to she’s all alone and scared
Trusting in her friendships when most of them have tarred
Fed up she’s locked away inside
Anxiety the ecstasy that she cannot describe
(CHORUS)
Lying to herself is just a simple mask
Defeating the object of a blundered task
Eyes glazing over she cannot see
That this girl is searching, looking straight at me.

This was a very good write and had so much emotion and pain in it. You used a great choice of words in this write and it was much enjoyed. So many questions and things going on all at once it overwhelms the mind an really makes you see things from the writes view. This write makes you become the person and was a awesome read. A great poem will draw you in and this one really did that. Welcome to the site and I look forward to many more of your writes. Take care and know you have friends here….Steve
