Array ( [sid] => 93651 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => For Brandon I hope YOu are where you want to be [time] => 2005-05-07 23:34:23 [hometext] => This is for my friend Brandon who killed him self a few years ago this month [bodytext] =>
All the day I kept seeing you
Sometimes I even went up to people and tapped them on the back
When they turned around it wasn’t you
I saw you by the window where we would always speak
Where you first saw Kristen and said you were in love
You asked her out and she said she had been waiting for you too
You were happy for a while and then it stopped
She could not take it seeing you so sad
At times I was not able to either
And for that I am sorry
That day I heard your voice calling out
Asking for help
But then it went away
I walked home and thought that you were next to me
I even felt your hand
It felt like running water blood or quick sand
But it was thick and like velvet
Then my hand fell asleep
I walked by the bus stop and thought I saw you there
I thought that you waved at me good bye
I wanted to wave back but you were not there anymore
I remember you had a smile on your face like I had never seen
I got home and got all my things done in a hurry so I could call you
When I finally did
Your mother picked up the phone on your private line and I knew then
That it really was you who I saw that day all those times
She told me you hung your self in your closet
It was not the first time you had tried to do something
To end it all
I know I had come to doing the same two days prior
Sometimes if I look hard enough I can see the marks
Though I guess for you it was the last
And I guess I can say it was the last for me too

Brandon I don’t know how I have been able to
Go on without you here without having you to talk to
But I know that you have helped me out a lot
And still do so everyday
I know that you are happy to know that
I am very happy and have been for a while
I hope you are where you want to be
Say hi to your dad for me if you see him
And I want you to know that I have not
And will not ever forget you
