Soar through my legs, I run
Feeling free for the first time
Wind in my hair, no problems
Distance goes on forever
And my breath clenches tight
Shake it off, fight this fight
No one can stop me
I’ll chase them all down
Like a cheetah chasing after
A dazed gazelle
Crouching waiting to strike
Like a hanglider
Right after jumping over a gorge of doom
Thinking of nothing, and everything
Feeling the beauty of the air
And the ability to shake off the pain
The adrenaline rush
It’s almost too much to bear
Going off by myself and me alone
You can’t touch me here
No one can be this free
For this is me…

Very nicely done, with the metaphor of life in running. While there's no doubting you're a runner like others I know, there is the pain of what you're running from. I hope that you are sucessful and won't be stopped by what tries to hold you back.

Well said by Jaycee. I'm a runner too, and while the pain is so sweet it makes me forget all, you still, at some point need to come face to face with your demons...I hope that you can; it won't be easy. Really good write.
