O wind! As you are laughing with a cool breeze
My mind thrills with joy and
love of nature overflow through my throbbing veins.
By your caress and sweet embrace,
The universe is drawn up like a map on the canvas of my heart.
Like a shower of jasmines and sweet roses
Thou art dancing with waves of fragrance.
With resonant music of Niagara Falls,
With reverberant calls of Himalayan Mountains,
And with sweet tunes of Nile and Ganges, the immortal rivers
Thou hast gamboled into my heart and
flashed like a star, nestled in my throat.
Thou art racing, racing, before my eyes, everywhere on earth,
Over the hills and dales, on roads and fields,
In buildings and skyscrapers and in dark rooms,
In battle fronts and in the barrels of the shouting guns
In hospitals with oxygen bottles and on sick beds
In cities, villages and parks and oceans
Like a wild cat, like an air craft
Thou art racing, racing everywhere.
And now I could see thy universal spirit and noble nature.
Thou hast no barriers of caste, creed, and color.
Thou hast no differences of tongues, religions and fanaticism of beliefs.
Thou art a symbol of universal family, one family
Thou art singing a song of peace with a message to mankind.

Oh i love the way you wrote this one, the visions you gave here are soo beautiful...i love where it says Like a wild cat, like an air craft...Thou hast no differences of tongues, religions and fanaticism of beleifs....that is simply beautiful...and the ending of it wraps this one up VERY nicely.....it does have a strong message behind it, It's a very unique thing when someone actually takes the time to feel nature like that and let it speak to them as you have done here....thanks for sharing this one venkat.... i enjoyed it tremendously.....

An utterly splendid write, Venkat. You have truly been touched by the wind, and been included in its revelations.

The wind touches all. I revel in the wind and Mother Nature. I just wish I could get to it more often, sigh. ( I live in the city) When I get out in the country, it's like a big tranquilizer hits my soul. You manage to put into words what many of us only feel. Thank you for that. Stellar write.

This is very beautiful. You have brought so much vivid imagery to our friend, the invisible wind.

Take care,
