[title] => How Could You Leave Me Like This?
[time] => 2005-05-06 22:11:02
[hometext] => A selfish ode to someone I loved very much and lost on April 25th, my daddy, whom I only knew for 4 years - and somehow it was almost long enough.......
[bodytext] => I held this all in for so long, now I am falling apart There is only so much space inside a wounded heart. I already said goodbye but letting go is not as easy When I walk this world alone and there is nobody here to ease this hurt in me. How could you leave me like this? When I just learned to lean on you, Began to believe I could count on you, You would always be here for me to run to, No matter how tough we would make a way through, When I finally felt safe enough to love you – You were gone and I am left here to carry on Everyday thinking about everything you will miss- How could you leave me like this? You begged me to give you the chance to make up for your every wrong, Separately we fell victim to circumstance but together we were twice as strong. Learning to feel this way for someone I never dreamed you would become, Did you know that you made me proud, in my heart you stood out, I saw so much of you in me.
