On those whom I once knew
Delivering me misery
All I once knew is untrue

Since my reality
Was shaken and disturbed
I stopped dreaming
Feeling too perturbed

Advice has been placed
Onto my once strong shoulders
Find the core of the sorrow
Easily remove life's wretched boulders

Finding a core
That does not lure
Is a difficult task
To fight and endure

Time flies much too quickly
As do my days
Rushing as a stream of water
Foggy in a haze

I just need some time
To part with what I don't desire
And one measly match
To light my life's burnt out fire [comments] => 2 [counter] => 148 [topic] => 61 [informant] => dreamer_for_eternity [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

Yeah I can relate to this as I too need to
relight the fading fires of my life. This was a
great poem the title stood out for some
reason and I am glad that I read this. Thanks
for sharing it.
