Mr. Bernard of fairy fame
I need to ask a favor
I have been having trouble
And losing sleep I savor
It seems an epidemic
As many poets of late
Are spending more and more
Of their evenings wide awake
Perhaps the troubles of the East
Have affected other lands
And caused the man who brings us sleep
To use generic sand
I close my eyes
And sleep will come
But in the morning
My head is numb
I don't feel rested
In fact it's bad
I can't recall
The dreams I've had
Could you please ask
The Fairy Queen
Perhaps to help
Or intercede
Spell the sand
Or loan some dust
It is important
Sleep’s a must
For things of dreams
Barely conceived
Are harder still
To be believed
And what would happen
To The Queen
If sleep deprived
She isn't seen
So Bernard
You must understand
The danger
Facing fairy land
Please ask of her
I beg of you
Return to us
The sleep we knew

OH, PLEASE BERNARD!!! YOU ARE OUR LAST HOPE! I HAVEN'T SLEPT IN DAYS!!! *Sobs*

Beautiful piece, cheri. A desperate plea to the man of the fairies, exquisitely woven. Yes, I believe it is an epidemic... Many poets have been deprived of slumber, including me... So please, Bernard, whenever you get this, send a message to your Fairy Queen, and ask her for some sleepy dust. :-) Huggles and love for Nazzy, Bernard, Fairy Queen, and the rest of us that are suffering from Insomnia... *Sighs* Another night of endless voices, waiting to be heard and tales to be told... Wonderful piece. I completely understand where you're coming from, my friend. All my love. Forever,

Your sleepless friend,

Stephy. *who hopes that the Fairy Queen get's this message soon!*

*sighs* Yes please Bernard...
and while you're at it....
Maybe she could get rid of strange nightmares, including the one about me being swallowed up by something that looks like mashed potatoes?
hope this works, Naz

Naz I have petitioned the Fairy Queen on behalf of all insomniacs. Her advice is to read more of bernard's Fairy-Tales. Oh and not to eat or drink anything heavy after five or six in the evening. The sand man is working overtime and has one big job to get to everybody in the world at the right time. Poem about Sunday Should follow or who knows another Bernard Fairy-Tale. Have fun Nath and keep smiling from bernard.
