I told him that I loved another
and he said he understood
I never meant to hurt him
I told him I was in a bad mood
I asked him why he liked me
and he said it was something
something he just couldn't explain
and I said I understand, I feel just the same
Then it came to me, like a bullet from a gun
I had just given up on someone
doing exactly what I had done

a very awkward situation u r in. Destiny has a funny way sometimes. A very well written piece expressing the wanting of another.
