[hometext] => This poem is one I wrote for my son.
[bodytext] => Before you were born, I loved you.
While you were inside me, I held you near my heart. When you were born, I loved you. I saw in your tiny face, Love truly returned. When you were a small child, I loved you. Each time you said Mommy, I knew more about love. When you were a teenager, I loved you. Though you marched to the beat of a different drummer, still I learned more about love. Now you are a man, and still I love you. And though times are tough, And there is distance between us, Still you teach me about love. Loving you is all I know how to do well.
