Why can’t you kiss me again for you set this soul on fire?
Causing my heart to finally feel while fulfilling my every desire

Surely I was not deceived how this kiss could be anything but true
It meant beyond everything to me even if meaning nothing to you

I felt within your lips a true passion that cannot be tamed
A soul piercing feeling which cannot be described nor named

My heart bleeds for you now and I have vowed to never forget
Our short passion- filled night or the special day we met

Oh I am tortured every hour remembering your sweet taste
Why can’t you kiss me again for my love’s beginning to waste?

I remember I cannot kiss you again for you are no longer here
You will never be mine but your kiss I still hold so very dear.

Why can’t you kiss me again for you set this soul on fire?

i can relate in away
i guess
my girlfriend is gone
and shes never coming back
but the poem was well worth the read
