In moderate elevations
With precise hesitations
Power and jealousy detach
The conclusion of the query
Explains nothing to me
As I begin to re-hatch and mismatch

A declaration of anonymity
Your secrets safe with me
Pardon the morbidity
The poisonous levels of acidity
You bring it out in me!
It’s your promiscuity!

Willing to freely sell
What you can never own
A premonition should have struck you
Bleed you to the bare bone
An epiphany, a concert of tone
In proximity, you could discern

The promise matters none
It intention has become, undone
A misinterpreted decision
Spoken only in true religion
The nailed curtains are your prison

Desperation attacks your core
The apple is passed its expiration, sour
Yet your back to taste some more
A missing connection
While the falcon and the dragon
Guard you at your back- door
Grab your possessions
Don’t forget my ambition
I think you left it on the floor

Masterful inspirations
Creative inclinations
Your promise was a mirage
For in the end, when all is said
And a “closed” sign, blinks neon red
Speak you last words with scorn
And know for certain
The promise is now dead and gone
