and watch me weep
instead of ignoring me
its your love that i seek

you closed your eyes
so i ran astray
then you ask "how did this happen?"
"why did it go this way?"

because you closed your eyes
til i did wrong
you closed your eyes
but i was strong

but now i can't stand
so i lie on the floor
crying everynight
behind my closed door

i just want your love
and encouraging smile
anything in this world
to make life worth while

Now open your eyes
and watch me weep
look at what
you've done to me.

Sad moments always seem to inspire the greatest poetry....i really really enjoyed this one because it relates to a situation i'm going through right now and so it was easy for me to pick up where you were coming from....anyways keep on writing so i can read more...you did a real good job.

This was so good. I can't tell you how much better I feel since I read this just now. This is exactly how I feel, but could never find the words. Well I just found them and I love it when something helps me define how I am feeling. Thanks so much for sharing this. This was so amazingly true. God Bless....:o))
