[bodytext] => A pool of thorns and dead leaves, Deprived of a caring gardener, Cries of replenishment neglected, A useless bush that did not bloom... My memory fails me, I know not when I last looked upon it, Yet, something provoked me to gaze out my window today, And there they were... Four gorgeous roses, A shade of red that no eyes have ever seen, Leaves of the greenest pastures, A splendor... that struck me so mercilessly, Tears sprung to my eyes, A sense of spiritual renewal consumed me, That I feared to even take in a breath, So as not to ruin the moment... How many moons has it been, Since a crimson bud has come out of hiding, And bloomed, showed it's infinite scarlet beauty to the world? How many scorching days has it endured, Withuot rain, nor a generous drop of water, From my own home? Too long... too long have I not cared for it, Believing it to be decayed, Leaving only a skeleton of dry branches and weeds... Worthless... Yet, see how it has flourished! My roses of Hope, Signs that, through it all, There will be a new beginning...
