mornings' sorrow

As I stand in wait of tomorrow
And the rising of another sun
My thoughts are filled with sorrow
As this day is yet begun
And the tears that fill my memories
Of a lost and lonely past
Of a love now long forgotten
And the pain it once had cast
And the dreams that now are faded
From the years that’s all gone by
And a heart so sadly jaded
And the tears that I still cry.
