Eternitys' edge

I have stood before eternitys edge
in guise of setting sun
I have knelt before the eyes of God
to know that there is one
I have journeyed to tomorrows dawn
in search of mornings light
I have sought to find the reasons why
I stand alone and fight
I have wondered through the ageless years
and left it all to fate
I have thought about the endless times
I find myself in wait
I have walked alone the threaded paths
in search of solitude
I have chased the thoughts that fill my mind
and some that still allude
I have felt the comfort that comes from friends
on those cold and lonely nights
and I have thanked the Gods of evermore
for these words I write.
