Array ( [sid] => 92622 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Holy Matrimony [time] => 2005-04-28 19:37:25 [hometext] => This poem is dedicated to my niece who is getting married next month. [bodytext] => I caught a glimpse of a potential partner of mine
Seems to be an attraction of some kind
Keep running into each other
Soon after, a desire to date they discover

The look and energy that stirred within
Caused their hearts to flutter, and a tear in spite of their grin
Eyes would lock, followed by a loving smile, then,
A shiver, depicting the degree of love encompassing them

Their togetherness kindled a deep passion and desire
Yet something deeper was inspired
Akin to a relationship like Heaven on earth
Their faith seemed to magnify and give birth

A bond of trust and respect was born
A deep friendship, along with their love was formed
For the covenant of their faith was shared
With a devotion to have Christ inherently there

When they embrace and touch a flame of love does flare
Their eyes reflect the soul of one another to share
Actually deepening the amount of love God would create
And the promise of total fulfillment is reaffirmed, to mate

With love and devotion marriage enters in
A Holy union of commitment begins
And a promise and desire "until death do us part"
This becomes the sacred covenant of the heart

And with the consummation of their love affirmed
Their married journey is set in motion to confirm
A future promise of love and devotion
Forsaking all others with heart helt emotion [comments] => 4 [counter] => 144 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Willofree [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

you are quite brilliant with your endings, and that is definantly a good thing. your piece started off quite well and ended superbly. this was very nice, "When they embrace and touch a flame of love does flare
Their eyes reflect the soul of one another to share"

What a beautiful and endearing tribute to your niece!! I'll bet she loved this...Did you read it at their wedding? This is lovely Will...well done.
