[bodytext] => Hey this is an Indian sorta poem and so the stuff in it is based on an Indian arranged marriage. the stuff in italics means that the girl is thinking and the other is the boy.....enjoy! Her arms adorned with bangles for the entire world to see Pearls dangling from her eyes, shining wildly as can be, Her eyes dark and innocent, carrying a dark secret inside A secret so precious, with no one will she confide Her anklets gently chime with every step she takes With no one around, only her soul is at stake Her strides are heavy; such a burden on her heart But with her secret, she knew she would never part Only her Saree is visible from where he stands The emerald green colors remind him if his homeland, Oh just to catch a glimpse of her style so rare To warm his heart-broken soul with her flawless flare Tears dripping from his eyelids, nothing would give way If only he could turn the clock back to that fateful day Just to see her face twinkle, her eyes full of pride Why won't she act like the bride he knew inside? Her insides churned as she saw his face in the moonlight Tear stained face shining vividly throughout the night Her face grew hot with embarrassment, eyes starting to fill Pain searing through through her body, sharp knives ready to kill. She could feel emotions tumbling back to her; why endeavor? When life may be so cruel; if only time could last forever. Just to turn the clock back was the only wish on her mind The man that was waiting for me, if only she could find A shadow walked past; a man greeted his dearest wife His heart ached to take his place; he HUD hoped all his life He remembered her secret; it was etched into his own heart "We'll always be together; with your love I'll never part" The man led her away; he could see her trying to restrain Feeling all her worries and feeling all her pain, Just one last glimpse at her strangled help of plea The tears in her eyes forever being imprinted in his memory.
