Make a stain
Blood flows out
Through the veins
You puncture me
All knives out
You could kill me
But you'll do without
Tie me up
Pull me aside
Preach to me
I will not hide
Confront the Reaper
The killer in you
Destroy the essence
The killer in you
And so you say
What you will do
But I know you
This isn't true
Believe the actions
Of a tired man
Gone insane
From selling cans
Homeless and lost
Lost everything
Shopping cart full
Of decrepit things
Shooting for glory
Shooting for fame
Wanting a future
Wanting a name
Hold your gun
To my heart
Show me what
You're all about
Pity runs through
my mind
When I see the glare
in your eyes
It makes me quiver
But I'll never cry
I know who you are
I know where you're from
It doesn't matter
You're not a bum
You're not a killer
You're not dead
You're just misguided
You're just mislead [comments] => 1 [counter] => 160 [topic] => 43 [informant] => InexactExactness [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

People such as these surely need to be loved more than they are....the last lines of this poem captured me because they are what made the poem all together in my eyes.....Your not a bum your not a killer your not dead your just misguided your just midlead....that wraps up the entire poem alltogether throughout the whole entire write....i love the way you wrote this....it's beautifully written.....your poetry is always a pleasure to read my friend...
