Array ( [sid] => 92261 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Bloodrush Continuum [time] => 2005-04-25 21:33:17 [hometext] => Aother on-the-spot poem. Inspired by brandyx7 and the Virgin Mafiya. It's called 'continuum' because ther's always another Bloodrush. [bodytext] => I wonder, how many of us have been depressed
repressed
and beaten to the floor
I can't
I won't
I refuse to
take it anymore
I'm rearing to roar
dagger in hand with one foot in the door
Schizo's ready for war
battle-hardened and awaiting the word
ATTACK
The docile in me is gone an I really don't want it back
so all you haters retract
into your holes
barely time to react
before I blow
look, I'm just lettin' 'em know
another Bloodrush has come upon me
and I'm just lettin it flow
so beware and take care
society's made me a monster so there
no longer just another louse in life's hair
I'm a full-blown wasp
and now I take to the air
no longer desiring respect
as I inject
these lyrics straight into your neck
to free your mind iike Neo
and I'm not lettin go
settin my roots deeper than Creole
let my light shine like African gold
forced to remember my self-control
so I don't say the wrong thing
and end up dead in a hole
cuz **** happens out here
you can choose or choose not to accept it
on your own
cuz you'll realize it eventually
as more and younger kids
are tempted to act advenurously
STDs spread faster than knowledge
cuz we're unable to restrain ourselves sexually
I've become what I hate
one who hurts intentionally
and since against this I've sworn
I'm battling myself with scorn [comments] => 2 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 13 [informant] => lilschizoboy07 [notes] => Edited due to the use of a banned word. - Moderator_16 [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

this was really good, kept me intersted the whole way though. I think everyone has felt like this some days.

Very nicely written.
