Is the best time of year.
A time to show how much you care,
For the ones that you hold dear.

A time for joyous feelings,
The warmth of holiday cheer.
A time for showing friends and family,
Your feelings are sincere.

Perhaps we should bow our heads,
And give thanks to God above.
For all the things we have,
But most of all for love.

A time to treasure all the things,
That life has given unto you.
So use the Spirit of the season,
And your goodness will shine through.

This is a time for us to give,
To those who are in need.
Do this every day of the year,
In your heart allow no greed.

Try to look back on the year,
And remember all good things.
Shout your joy out to the world,
And allow your soul to sing.

There are some people in this world,
Who never know how lucky that they are.
They never realize God is there,
He is watching from afar.

We all should open up our hearts,
To the love this season brings.
Acknowledging within our hearts,
That Jesus Christ is King.

We should all feel so blessed,
For the Angels that are here.
Then take each other by the hand,
And offer up a prayer.

Lord grant your blessings on us all,
This Christmas time we prey.
Show us how to cherish each other,
Through all the coming days.

Merry Christmas To All

They say that Christmas time,
Is the best time of year.
A time to show how much you care,
For the ones that you hold dear.

A time for joyous feelings,
The warmth of holiday cheer.
A time for showing friends and family,

Very nice, I loved it... but I think people should be like this all through the year and not just at Christmas....

Now see this one needs to be carved on somthing somewhere, like engraved on the side of a beautiful colorful candle...and i agree this is how people should live all year round not just at christmas, this is such a beautiful inspiring write...i am so sorry it has taken me so long to comment on your poetry i have gotten behind with the holidays, i did receive your message, and i will continue to read your beautiful poems, tell the wife i said Thank you for asking you to post your poetry because she is completely right you really are talented ...and i for one enjoy reading your writings....

This poem hit me hard. It's to bad not everyone know's the true meaning of Christmas. Love this poem.
