She said it was manic
But when I wake up
It's past time to panic

How did this mess happen
I really don't know
I've got too much to do
Where did the time go

Even took Friday off
so things could get done
Ended up at the ren faire
Where things were so fun

Practiced sword and buckler
from m'script I.33
Okay, so Saturday morning
was just spent on me

Thought about blue_angel's poems,
notes fron leia36
but ended up cracking eggs
into some brownie mix

Nighttime found me checking
details on latest beta
Okay, I'll manage my life
I'll just do it later

Sunday found me so fast
I'd move with a fury
I'll get it all done
I've got no need to worry

Hmmm, my hair's still too long
And did I take my pills
I don't have enough dough
to pay all the bills

Instead we went to the museum
to become culturally rich
then watch'd Kim Possible
hey, what's the sitch

It couldn't be worse
I got nothing done
I put myself first
I'd been number one

The buzzer sounds cruelly
and now I am late
Nothing to wear or to eat
Did I procrastinate...

great poem... really i can relate to this. i constantly put myself first before others even if i didnt mean to... somehow everything is all about me...
but i dont want it to be. and it really isnt but thats how i make it out to be... because i cant control it.
so thats how i relate to this poem. wonderful write, brilliantly portrayed.
luv n hugs,
