Humiliation
Lamentations
Of a broken nation…

Controlling
Self-loathing
Foolish pride, upholding
The page is folding
My words a molding…

Bittersweet releases
The blood never ceases
Falling to pieces
Suicide forever teases…

Invisible tears
Horrid, nightly fears
Ruthless sneers
From ignorant peers...

Nothingness
Forever worthless
Words of emptiness
Soulless

Insuppressible hate
I know my fate
Mutilation initiates
No longer can I wait…

Death lingers
With icy fingers
My freedom bringer…

Forgotten legacy
Never meant to be

Free…

Eyes are blind, they cannot see,
The monstrosity
The mystery

Me...

I am surprised that this has only received
one comment. I agree with you that it isn't
your best, but then again I don't think it is
possible for you to write a bad poem. I
thought this was quite good with all the
rhyming and what not. Overall, a very good
poem and I liked the change of pace.

New styles are always nice to see and experiment with. That is a sign of growth. I think the experiment was a success and hope you continue to delve into this and other styles as well. I too, think that there is little your pen could create that is not a work of art.
