I’m ignorant as to why your sometimes insensitive nature attracts me so
The way you speak… so intelligent and eloquent
Your breath on my face, the comfort I feel when I’m in your arms
The magic of your whisper that makes the rest of the world disappear
These feelings they do not escape me
For how I try sometimes to calm this burning desire that I feel just to have you
It completely engulfs me
I’m submerged in my own uncontrollable passion for you
It aches from deep down within me when I look at you and you don’t seem to understand how I feel
I wonder why our paths ever crossed
Never do I regret it though, for my heart cringes at how life would’ve been without you
I’m totally confident that there will never be another
Towards whom I’ll feel even close to all the incredible emotions you evoke from my heart
It’s amazing how protective I sometimes find myself feeling of you
Never jealous before have I ever been
But how my stomach churns to imagine you with anybody else other than myself
You bring out sides of me that I’ve never met and I’m surprised to be encountering now
I love you
There is no other explanation, no dressing it up or trying to play it down
Simply but at the same time it’s not simple at all…
I love you
