Look at my smile
I know you can tell
Sincerity is worthwhile
Water to a dry well
Forget your work
Your possessions too
Close your eyes tight
You haven’t got a clue
You’re in for a treat
A true surprise
In the morning sun
A truce, a compromise
Starting this day
A brand new year
Watch what you say
An old dried tear
Efficiently spoken
Right to the point
Secretly hoping
To split this joint
Harmful gestures
Intended for pain
April flowers
May brings rain
I won’t forget
The truce you broke
I can’t respect
The words you spoke
Go collect
The memories stored
Go inject
Your hate somewhere else
Look at my smile
Lips wide shut
Gonna take a while
To get out of this rut
