i lay alone
tryin 2 sleep
but all night my thoughts
r much 2 deep

i cant clear my mind
can hardly sleep a minute
nd if i do fall asleep
every dream has u in it

most the time i lay there
thinking, in darkness...not a sound
wondering y its 2 u
that my mind is always bound

but im not complaining
dont get me wrong
but its annoying
ive looked so hard
wen uve been right there all along

but the thoughts r nice
i wish id dream every night
cuz seeing ur face
is sucha sweet, sweet sight

if only i could have u
not jus in my dreams
but its physicaly impossible
or...so it seems

maybe one day
the timing will b right
nd maybe ill have u
for atleast one night

till then ill wait...
ill lie in bed nd ill think
nd almost everynite
i wont sleep for a blink
