I Could Cry

I could cry my own river;
Flood the bridge that I built.
Loving you is a rose,
Missing you makes it wilt.
I could trace your presence,
In the stars from the sky.
Consider letting go of you,
Then ask myself why.
I could carry you down your path,
But then what good are your feet?
I could look into my mirror,
But my reflection always weeps.
I could touch your pretty face,
With my shaky fingertips.
I can talk with perfect words,
Using more than just my lips.
Take my arms away from me,
Tae them, I want to lose them.
Take the lips that wish to kiss you,
Cuz I know I’ll never use them.
