[hometext] => i wrote this for a friend when his twin brother died, they meet each other for the first time 3 yrs. before his brother died!
[bodytext] => Looking downward at a face that’s identical to mine I feel this deep torn feeling I feel so left behind My minds drowning in chaos My heart fulfills in pain I lost my twin brother Now I’m fading in shame I haven’t known him forever But our life bond was strong I’m struggling to find serenity It’s really hard to hold on Standing over your coffin Was the hardest thing to do Trying to hold back tears of heart ache This death wasn’t meant for you I want my twin brother back I’ve only known him a few years I grasp on to our memories So I feel you’re always here The numbness has taken over my body I yet have no control I feel the nerves beneath my spin My tears now flowing heavy and full You seem so far away Although your body lays so near I hold on to your stillness Like an image in a mirror You’re looking so bractless I’m glade there’s no more fear This is getting pretty tough now I need God to hear my prayers So I can understand How to become strong I know your features will no longer be here But I know besides me, is an angel in my ear You’ll show your love through guidenss To give my heart the warmth To know my twin brother is doing ok [comments] => 0 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 32 [informant] => brown_eyez [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
