Good Mourning

Contributed by desireemiote on Sunday, 17th April 2005 @ 01:48:10 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

I'm mourning the world and I don't know what for
But I do know it's sad and depressing
It finds me fortunate in it's own way
But I don't find it so in suppressing

OOO ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo
OOO ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo

I'm breaking down as my hunger consumes
Though I find no starvation within me
My world is breaking my vision is torn
Yet I look to find everyone the same

Chorus:
and kiss this life
As the world looks away
Just one more try
Though impossible they say

**Where is this world within me
Alone I see it pull away
I don't wanna see this happiness leave
Although my eyes stay all too wide**

Chorus

Justified claims of the innocent roll
This is my battered obssession
Masochistic this power I hold
And there's no turning back once you've seen change

**Where is this world within me
Alone in patience I must hide
I've lost all hope of finding you dear
Gone to see the other side**
Now why is this world so uptight

Fanstastic Meg, just simply fantastic..a good song for the times.
You are very talented Meg, and I really appreciated the images you brought forforth in my head.
For a person only in high school, you have your whole career of poetry before you, and you are doing so well now, goodness only knows what you can do with alittle more practice.
Enjoyed that very much.
