The masses along
No one dares to sing their own song
I will sing now
My voice will be heard
I do not care if my words are absurd

We were the chosen
The ones left behind
We are the ones that were born blind
Tell us your secrets
Tell us no lies
Tell us the truth before we die

We were murdered
For our beliefs
We were not given any relief
All through the centuries
The story's the same
Don't feed the hungry take the canes from the lame

People will live
People will die
Why do people always as why
The famous question
The famous disease
That bring all who ask down on their knees

My song is finished
My life is done
People will sing it long after I'm gone
Distorting my words
Distorting the meaning
They will resay my words without any feeling

They say all I say and lose all the meaning [comments] => 4 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 34 [informant] => poet_of_anger [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 13 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )

it is both to me also. because you had elements from both religion and philosophy. this was a very good read. i think it would do well as a song. i especially loved your ending. very well done indeedy.
