"Oh my god look at her" and i see everyone,
looking at me with my hair cut short,
my skirt real tight and short not matching the rest,
I've given up on what people think of me,
they think my life is theirs, but it's not,
it's my life and I'll dress how I feel,
I'll be who I want to be and do what I want,
I won't be who they want me to be,
I won't do what they tell me to do,
they're all free to be who they want to be,
why can't I have my freedom?,
I want to be me and not care what they say,
I want to express myself freely,
without people judging my every move,
some day this will happen,
I will be me with no one else inside. I liked your poem. I have one that is kind of similar. I think I titled it 'Poem'. Definately be yourself. I think that is so important. Wear whatever the heck you wanna; unless it could get you arrested...hee hee...again though, good write.
