how simple memories can tear you up?
Can make you cry?
And yet I hold on to it all

Becuase you held me together,
You gave me life,
You but giggles,
into my solitary life.

The fights we had
Over silly things I forgot
But sometimes I miss
Back when we fought

Because at least you were there
At least we were together
And we'd always apologize
And try to make things better

They send me back in time and sooth my pain,
and just when I think theres nothing left,
i think of you,
and the 'good ol days'

Remember when we had trouble going to sleep,
becuase grant and scott were watching?
When barbie went bungie jumping?
When Artic barbie was discovered?

Can you remember,
when we planned our day at Silver Dollar City?
I can still remember that trip,
can you remember the signs stuck in the window?
The laughs and the snickers?

And don't forget Indiana Jones,
and hiding under the covers,
because the snakes scared us

Don't ever forget,
our made up language.
And when you hear Margarita,
always think of me.

And I'll think of you,
when ever I see a nancy drew book,
or when I play the sims.

Sometimes I catch myself,
begining to write you a note,
but I stop mid word,
and hold back my tears,
because you dear sam,
you are gone it seems.

Although I guess our collage Disney Trip
has been cancled,
don't ever forget our plans.

I won't ever forget,
those cards we made,
and how I signed it,
Your Best Friend Forever.
But I guess Forever has to end at some point.

Don't you ever forget,
cuz I know that I won't,
even though I can no longer catch up to you in the halls,
your always in my heart.

These little memories,
can never leave me,
because no matter how I try,
they haunt the innner me.

This poem,
is a release of my feeling,
a reflection of,
our 5 yr friendship,
it was't written out of spit,
but remberence,
because even though forever,
doesn't last forever
Memories do.
