She was sick of crying.
She was tired of rotting away,
And of lying.

Saying she was just fine,
But only that and nothing else.
Because she knew that her words,
Would never really help.

She hated who she was,
She hated everything she did.
She couldn’t even talk to you,
Her parents forbid.

But just before the puzzle,
Was completely torn apart.
The very last piece of it,
Connected to his heart.

He began to walk backwards,
A little more each day.
And her mom let her call him,
There were now words she could say.

With every step he grew closer,
To the girl who hid away.
He pulled her out of the corner,
Dried her tears, and loves her today.

Now they stand together,
Hand-in-hand in all they do.
Passion can only strengthen,
With every kiss, and “I Love You.”

Their love is one that’s envied.
A vast ocean, that beautifully waves.
She once was a nothing in the dark,
But is now a soul that was saved.

She is me…And I love you. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 31 [informant] => JacobsKK [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 39 [ratings] => 8 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )
