Array ( [sid] => 90645 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A Moment In Time [time] => 2005-04-11 17:29:15 [hometext] => Life is such a good thing, and i was thinking about how much it truly means to me. ( please comment on this one ) [bodytext] => Through all of the pain and strife, just some how i make it out unharmed
I came out of the battle alive and well, and i went in completely unarmed
My days are going by one minute at a time, but they are going by so fast
Sometimes it is hard to believe that this life is even going to last

Because it seems that every time i turn around, a new day has arrived
And i wasted a day worrying, instead of being thankful for being alive
I'm so thankful because right now i could be six feet under ground
But my life is still in motion, and God is keeping me around

I remember when i use to just simply wish my life away
I was living like everyday was tomorrow, instead of living life today
On the path to the future in a hurry, when i needed to have my feet planted
But as soon as i realized that i was rushing life, i stopped and then i landed

Looking at what was in front of me, instead of behind or straight ahead
Seeing much more when i take my time, leaving no time for stress and dread
Just go outside sit down and relax, and take a big fresh breath of air
Enjoy the world around you, and momentarily forget about your cares

I am so very thankful for everything i have, and am sorry for those with less
We all have a purpose here, some who already know why are blessed
So every once in a while take time out of your life and say a little prayer
Because life is such a thing to waste, and not giving thanks isn't really fair

Kay-Kay, you have written the real truth about life. It IS something to cherish. Too often we waste our time fretting over what could, or should, have been instead of appreciating what is. You seem to have found the key to life’s treasure box. Congratulations on an excellent expression of your happiness, and for sharing your new found fortune with the world.

John
