without the stress of goodbye
weighing on my body and making me scream for flesh

kiss me goodbye
bleed me till I'm empty
drain me dry- don't let me struggle
out of your hands

and it makes me wonder
it makes me fear
how long I've suppressed this
how long I've gone without release

and cry for nails on skin
