what if they all fell out?
what if they wouldn't puncture my wall, making it naked?
the tacks are all different colors.
a dried bouquet is attatched to my wall by one.
frozen in time, reminding me of fondly of one past even in particular.
a tapestry illustrated with the zodiac
i remember getting years ago which followed me even when times were changing.
a calendar,
which serves almost as a diary, chronicling daily events...
a ticket stub from my first concert
notes
cards
drawings
and so many photos.
depicting so very many different
eras
situations
people
transitions...
all of these important, unique, defining, moments from my life...

tacks are holding up everything on my walls.
what if they all fell out?
what if they wouldn't puncture my wall, making it naked?
