You rambled off some crappy lie
But you were a teacher so I trusted you
How was I to know my childhood would soon die?

You went in and shut the door
And you asked me if I was a virgin
I said, “You sick freak!
You’re a teacher! What the heck are you thinking?”

His ugly smile grew wider as he drew near
Alcohol scent sticking to my face
Forcing me, with a gun, to obey
And to lose my childhood grace

His face is forever sealed in my mind
It is a box I hate to open
But occasionally on these summer nights
The memories float out unbidden

After he finished the indescribable deed
With a knife, he opened my veins
Lying exposed on the floor in my blood
My head swimming from the pain

Beating me, raping me, beating again
I hadn’t the strength to scream
Even if I had, he would have killed me
I couldn’t stop him from performing things obscene

Finally he tired and left
I was nauseous and dizzy from lose of blood
It must have been late in the afternoon
When my other teacher came in

Rushing to my crimson body
She held me close to her heart
Not a word did she utter
She knew my healing had to start

For months after I left the hospital
I didn’t say a word or cry a tear
I silently put these memories away
I hoped they would never again appear

But yesterday, I saw him
And it brought back the torment and shame
I thought if I wrote all this down
It might help me forget again. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 182 [topic] => 65 [informant] => NightOwl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => toughstuff )

You said nothing? To no one? I am so sorry this tragedy happened to you. No one should ever endure this disgust. I knew a girl that this happened to, a teacher raped her, well 20 years later she was still being haunted by the pain, she pressed charges against him and she no longer has to see him, he sits in a jail cell in Maryland! Right where he belongs! And that is where your perpetrator should be before he does this again. Think about it, it may be a remarkable healing tool, saving another persons life. My prayers go out to you.
Angel always, godspeed! ~joni~

By speaking up u can stop this freak from hurting somebody else. Like Joni said this could be a remarkable healing tool. I'm here for u. PM me ok. I hope ur heart heals with time.
Hundreds of heartfelt hugs for you,
~Sue~
